About
REACT Mission
REACT is dedicated to supporting those fleeing conflicts and living in displaced camps to access education and exercise their right to an independent and dignified economic social and cultural development. As refugees, children no longer have access to their former schools or textbooks. Being excluded from their national curriculum they are unable to gain vital qualifications, sitting exams or enter university - something that can offer them professional employment and a recognized standing in their community and country. As refugees, adults and youth have no access to learning and skills development to help them in future life.
REACT aims to support refugee children’s right to education by providing refugee school children with books from their home countries wherever possible and other educational tools as well as giving support to teachers by providing training.
REACT believes those living in camps have the same ambitions and talents as others individuals and have the right to enjoy equal access to develop their potentials. REACT aims to give a voice to refugee youth and children by establishing links between schools in the camps and schools elsewhere, in the UK and in otherparts of the world. REACT aims to empower schools by establishing channel for mutual support, communication and understanding through education and the media. Current Projects
