REACT’ s activities follow two main strands: The provision of text books to refugees and The promotion of education and learning through School Links with refugee students and teachers

The provision of Text Books for refugees from their original countries.

REACT aims to support refugee children’s right to education by providing refugee school children with books which are culturally specific and from their home countries wherever possible. REACT aims to ensure that girls and as well as boys own books.

REACT aims to ensure that children have access to texts approved by their country of origin as part of the national school curriculum of approved texts for examination, so that children can hope to access economic, social and cultural development in their country of origin should they return. This entails accessing books published by the State Ministry of Education of the refugees’ country of origin.
